This is our new desktop screen. Uly is 100% into Mario these days...Can't get enough gamecubing in one day.
And when we're not gamecubing, we are rocketship racing at Southside Park. The best of both worlds.

The Carmichael Photo shoot. Mom's patio is very pretty this time of year.

Some pictures of dad with the kids on his last day of his Mia work leave. Too cute.....

Friday, July 21, 2006

OK. The family is tired. But, we are having fun too. So sad that Dad has to go back to work next week, the time just flew by. But we are looking forward to Grandma Bonnie coming to visit. My new mantra is, "Just one nap at a time".

Well, my big sister is so talented. I got back from the hospital to find the best giftbox for Mia and Uly. She knit the beautifully pale pink bolero sweater and little bitty slippers. The super soft angora hat. Not to mention the hand stenciled oneies......and Uly's pirate shirt too.
Look at how cute Ulysses the pirate is. The only shirt he wants to wear now. Arrgghh, a pirate says.
Everything is so pink and little and perfect.Hugs and love to Denise.

Jason shots of Mom and Mia.

Saturday, July 15, 2006

So this is one of the very first pictures of Mia. As you can see, only her head is visible. I love this picture, Jason took a few of these shots because he knew I would like see what was happening on the other side of the blue paper curtain.
And because this was a planned c/s, we both were more on the calm side.
Long story, short. I am home with Mia Rose 7lbs 11oz. Everyone involved is heathly and happy and maybe just a little tired. Will tell the whole story when I am 100%

July 4th,2006

Arrived at Club Estaban @ 4:15 with Cincinnati Chili dip in hand. Uly and dad went swimming. Uly was into being a guppy. He kept telling Dad,"Go over there", so he could jump into the deep water on his own. He dunked himself once and keep his dad close by the rest of the swim. Pool time was followed by food. We shared two plates piled with 2 chicken breasts,1 foot long dog with cheese,1 bratwurst,1 hamburger, potato salad, fruit salad with blueberries, strawberries, cantaloupe and watermelon, giant buffalo mozzarella and basil tomatoes, all downed with beer(for dad) and grape soda for Uly. Oh and countless white chocolate chip cookies, rice krispy treats and brownies. After dinner Pinball games until the sun went down and the fireworks began. We got home just before 11 P.M. Oh yeah, at around 9:15 we stopped the fireworks as the Space station flew across our sky at 17,000.00 miles per hour. It was over two hundred feet over us and was so clear. Very cool.

The only good picture of me on the 4th!
