three days
so this is a jumble of our long weekend events. we walked down to meet mom at the jazz festival. hung out in the ballroom before heading out for lunch in the freeway garden. cats and jammers played and uly got down twirling his mardi gras beads. walked around old sac and had some ice cream before heading back home. we had a geno's pizza for dinner. i have never seen a pizza with a pop up timer before, kinda crazy. went back down to listen to more music in the ballroom on sunday. mia is trying her darnest to walk and was flirting it up with anyone who would walk by her as she was clapping along to the music. any day now. movies and pop corn and relaxing rounded out the rest of the weekend. oh yeah, we drove by our new hood. it starting to come together. we can't wait!!

Save the Whales in our backyard.
We never went to see the whales. It seemed a little creepy and sad because it was reported that they were injured. But that didn't stop the 20,000 people that showed up on the levee, even after the authorities warned that the crowds were a stress to the lost and hurt mammals. I hope there is a happy ending for this fishy family.
