halloween 2007 part I

normally when halloween rolls around we head down to our trusty ol' pumpkin patch, ride the antique steam engine train to the field and pick out the perfect orange globe. this year time ran out. but not to fear, we would stop at safeway on the way to pick up our boo at the zoo tickets. they have had a giant display in the entrance with millions of pumpkins and gords. not this morning.no more. gone. the one and only pumpkin that remained looked like something martha stewart would carve up not a 4 years old boy, who wanted to know, "what is it?". i bought it anyway just in case....but really which one would you want to make a jack o'lantern with, if you had a choice between these two pumpkins? we stopped at capitol nursery who had a very few left to choose from. lucky us found one that would work for uly, happy ending with a glowing scary face!
